Industry leading companies have recognized that global competitiveness requires the strategic and integrated management of product design, production, distribution, and sales.

Collaboration with partners – big and small - is essential to achieve and maintain a competitive edge.

The Initiative is an international partnership of practitioners, academics, technology providers and consulting organizations working together to collect, advance and distribute open-source  business information that contributes to the successful and competitive operation of product and service based business.

The success of the Initiative will be determined by how well its activities enable members to improve their business performance and the performance of their partners.

Members of the Initiative believe that the collaborative sharing of business practice and process information improves the performance of members and non-members alike.

The Metrics Project

Brown Bag Lunches Series

The GPI Brown Bag Lunch Series are virtual workshops conducted in one hour sessions.  (The name comes from the US custom of bringing lunch from home in a brown paper bag - so you can work while you eat).

Unlike a webinar (although they use web-centered technology), the Brown Bag series is interactive and provides interaction between attendees and facilitators.
